Motherson Elastomers is a major supplier of mixed rubber compounds to the Australian Retread Industry through its Orbitred range of compounds. Motherson Elastomers has worked with manufacturers of retread tyres for many years developing a complete range of compounds that can be used for passenger car tyres through to heavy vehicles, formulated to perform well in the unique Australian environment.

Although our standard Orbitred range is the basis of compounds supplied to the retread industry, we also understand the customers need for something customised. Motherson Elastomers offers full technical support for our existing compounds, and are able to develop custom compounds or mix to customer formula.

Motherson Elastomers fully supports the concept of actively solving the environmental hazard caused by discarded used tyre carcuses throughthe retread and remoulding industries. Motherson Elastomers is also a participating member of the Green Challenge which is an initiative to reduce greenhouse gasses produced by manufacturing processes.
